Terms of Use

Conditions for educational use, third-party links and editorial feedback—without creating a medical or dispensing relationship.

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Acceptance and Website Scope

These Terms of Use apply to ABXMedX at https://abxmedx.com, including its educational articles, links and editorial contact service. They explain the site’s role and limitations and do not remove consumer or other statutory protections that cannot lawfully be waived. Visitors may stop using the site if they do not accept the terms.

ABXMedX provides U.S.-oriented information about azithromycin, doxycycline, Bactrim/TMP-SMX, comparator antibiotics, approved drug-product identity, clinical safety, pharmacy verification and cost factors. Medical providers, pharmacies, insurers and third-party platforms operate independently under their own terms.

Educational Information Is Not Medical Advice

ABXMedX is not a physician, clinical service, dispensing pharmacy, insurer or telehealth prescriber. Our articles cannot diagnose an infection, provide an individual dosing regimen, replace laboratory testing or authorize an antibiotic purchase without a valid prescription. Using the site or contacting its editorial channel does not create a clinician–patient or pharmacist–patient relationship.

Visitors should discuss treatment, drug interactions, allergies, pregnancy, special formulations and switching medicines with a licensed professional. Symptoms suggesting a medical emergency require immediate appropriate care rather than a website message.

Drug Identity, Product Substitution and Clinical Limits

Azithromycin, doxycycline and TMP-SMX are different antibiotics, not generics for one another. Doxycycline can be supplied as different salts and specialized delayed-release products; a common milligram figure alone may not establish interchangeability. TMP-SMX contains two active ingredients in specified combinations, while azithromycin brand packaging does not establish a unique chemical drug.

FDA product records, DailyMed labels and clinical guidelines answer different questions and can change. A discontinued brand, historic NDC or online listing does not prove that a particular product is currently available. Educational comparisons do not instruct patients to start, stop, substitute or combine medicines.

Prescriptions, Pharmacies, Prices and Referrals

Prescription antibiotics require appropriate clinical authorization for lawful dispensing in the United States. Users should verify any online pharmacy’s licensing, prescription safeguards and pharmacist contact through independent sources such as FDA guidance on safe online pharmacies. An online questionnaire, article or sponsored link does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.

Actual availability, formulation, pharmacy quotes, discounts, insurance terms and delivery timing can vary. ABXMedX does not guarantee a lowest price, live inventory, delivery deadline, insurance payment or the legitimacy of a third-party offer. Commercial links may carry referral compensation; this does not establish medical suitability, regulatory approval or pharmacy safety.

Acceptable Contact-Form Use

The contact form is for editorial corrections, public sources, reviewer-credit inquiries, accessibility questions, privacy matters and other website feedback. It is not a healthcare intake system or customer-service channel for independent prescription orders. Visitors must not submit another person’s confidential data, patient records, payment credentials, forged requests, threats, spam or malicious code.

ABXMedX may apply technical limits, reject inappropriate submissions and decline to engage with unsupported or abusive requests. A message does not guarantee a response or a particular editorial decision. See Privacy Policy for information about submitted messages and technical data.

Accuracy, Copyright and Changes

We seek to publish reliable information but cannot warrant that every medical label, guideline, source link, drug price or commercial term will be complete or current at the moment of access. Users should verify product details and seek professional advice for individual care. Report suspected mistakes through our contact page.

Original ABXMedX editorial writing, design and arrangement may be protected under applicable intellectual-property law. Ordinary linking and legally permitted quotation are not prohibited, but visitors must not impersonate the site or create a false impression of medical endorsement. We may change these terms as the service and applicable rules evolve. To the extent permitted by law, general information is supplied without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or individual outcomes; rights and liabilities that law makes nonwaivable are unaffected.
